M. Thibault faisait remarquer des phrases intéressantes:
I don’t know whether I favor expansion or not, until I see what the plans are; it would have to make sense for the membership, it would have to make sense for the fans, it would have to make sense for the game, the traditions of the game.
Certainly, if there ever was to be expansion, I think I would support having one of the teams be placed in Canada. If they were going to add two teams, I certainly would advocate one of those tems be placed in Canada
et aussi ceci :
Paul Kelly: Canadian teams represent 28% of NHL revenues...
"Kelly pointed out the six Canadian franchises represent 28 percent of the revenues (or 4.7 percent each). The other 24 U.S. teams make up the other 72 percent, or 3 percent each."
The first thing to note is that this statement is about the six Canadian teams, not Canadian-generated revenues (central revenues like the CBC et. al.).
